In 1975, the year the Dallas store was opened, Brooks Brothers partnered with the city to produce a float for the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. The float featured a recreation of "The Man In The Gray Flannel Suit."

The lobby of the building in which the former Brooks store in Dallas (on Elm Street) was located was used for the filming of "Dallas." In fact, JR's office was in that building.
